Added some links to the Nav list July 16, 2011
Added
capability to email me through what I think is a harvester robot proof
method. If anyone writes a robot that can get my email address, they
will have spent a lot of time for very little gain. This change
required the changing of all pages to include various parts of the
email facility. There is a link "Email Bob" in the navigation list on
the left of the pages.
June 23, 2011
Began using a Server
Side Include (SSI) to create the navigation list on the left hand side
of the pages. Reduces the amount of work needed to update the list when
I add, remove, or rename a page.
About Me Page Changes July 16, 2011
Created this page to
provide a bit of information about myself.
Analog LOGFORMAT Page Changes August 2, 2011
Corrected
the !DOCTYPE statement - the last time I edited this page with
Kompozer, it apparently reset the !DOCTYPE to one that was not proper
for the "modal boxes" I'm creating for providing my email address. This
causing the page text to start quite far down on the screen -
actually more than a screen's height down. It make it look like the
page was blank - unless you noticed that the page scroll bar was
visible and indicating that there was more to the page than was
currently visible. I didn't pick up on that for a few minutes while I
tried to figure out what was wrong. I finally found the problem by
comparing the source of pages displaying properly to these two pages. I
sort of "blinkered" them in two window (like astronomers due with films
to find any new bodies) and saw that the !DOCTYPE statement was
different.
This problem was also present on the Old DevEdge JavaScript PDFs Page July 30, 2011
I
created the Analog LOGFORMAT page to show the LOGFORMAT parameters I
had to use in order for Analog (a web site log analyzer) to process the
log files for my web sites that are hosted by MyDomain.com

I
removed the JavaScript documentation PDFs from my server to save
bandwidth. The PDFs, and other guides in other formats, are available
from another site. Please read the Old DevEdge JavaScript
PDFs page for details.
Replacement Tips For Radio Shack 64-2184 Soldering Station September 15, 2011
Created this page -
it tells of my finding of a soldering station, missing the tip, in a
dumpster and my search for a new tip.
